Tonight I watched a Dr. Wayne Dyer movie, The Shift. In the movie, Dr. Dyer (who Oprah names the father of spirituality) talked about the first nine months of our life as a unique period of time where we are guided by the process of becoming. I've never thought of life that way. It is quite an aha moment to think about a time where we didn't have control over who we'd become and could only surrender to allow the universe to pull us into this world, the way we were meant to be.
The moment we're out of the womb, we're imposed with destiny fabricated by the outside world and built up ego that continuously interferes with our authentic path. To find your purpose is to be an explorer of life and connect back to your core. Be guided by your internal compass and allow things to unfold the way it's meant to be. Just like the first 9 months of life, enjoy the journey you're on and befriend your authentic self so that you can begin to live out your life purpose.
